Attorney Profile
Attorney Costopoulos earned his law degree from the Dickinson
School
of Law in 1996 and was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania that same
year. Following graduation, he accepted a judicial clerkship
with
the
Superior
Court of Pennsylvania, where he remained until 1999.
Throughout his clerkship, Attorney Costopoulos engaged in
extensive legal research and
writing, and evaluated and assisted with the disposition of countless
appeals in both the civil and criminal arenas.
In 1999, Attorney Costopoulos took a position as an associate with a
large civil defense litigation firm in the city of
Philadelphia.
In this practice, he defended numerous insurance companies and
corporate clients in automobile, medical malpractice, premises
liability, employment matters and general negligence cases throughout
the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania.
After three years, Attorney Costopoulos left the practice of defending
large corporate entities to begin working for individuals and victims,
signing on with a small Philadelphia firm in 2003. In this
practice, he
concentrated on representing victims of personal injury and civil
rights violations, and consulting with clients in entertainment and
small business matters.
In 2004, Attorney Costopoulos returned to his hometown of Carlisle,
Pennsylvania, and opened the Law Offices of George J.
Costopoulos. With a
dedication to hard work and timeless values, Attorney Costopoulos today
welcomes the opportunity to serve those in need of experienced and
personalized legal representation.
